OUR MISSION

2NDGO’s mission is to serve veterans and first responders that are transitioning from one purpose to the next with the ultimate goal of identifying, supporting, and implementing that newfound purpose.

2NDGO will start this renewal by developing and implementing a wide range of physical activities.  The objective being that we offer a variety of events that will engage multiple interests.  Through this plan of action, we will provide an environment that allows for identification, connection and a heightened level of self efficacy that comes from moderate physical activity.  As we start to get our bodies right, the opportunity for the mind to follow is increased.

A primary intention of 2NDGO is to empower corporations and public service management with the tools to ensure that a culture that considers the physical and mental wellbeing of the transitioning service members will be implemented.

The culture of wellbeing gained through our proprietary program creates the means to identify the benefits and challenges of hiring prior service members. With these connections, the employer and employee can understand the crucial skills and culture that will elevate their second career.

2NDGO provides the roadmap to navigate resources and how to implement support to increase their productivity in the civilian sector.

We train the veterans  and the  first responders on resilience and coping skills to address the opportunities and challenges that they will encounter.

We remain a resource for both employer/employee when challenges and successes come up. Many organizations attempt to return the veteran or first responder to a societal norm. It is our experience that normalcy is not what these men and women are striving to reach. The skills developed through years of service are desired and if cultivated can be of great value to our communities.
